My chiropractor said that I should use ones without the hooks and recommended I find a good sports bra.I have tried numerous different types and never found a great fit - I always ended up with the classic centered uniboob. With minor adjustments after putting these on, there ends up being a small “dip” between both sides (front) and the girls stay in place. Also, after minor adjustments, the over and/under rolls are not too noticeable.I maybe could have gone a size bigger, but they are still super comfortable as far as everything fitting - space for the girls, strap length, under… I’m also losing weight so I’ll be able to use them for a longer amount of time than if I had gone up in size. TMI incoming… one is larger than the other but the difference isn’t even noticeable. I have had a difficult time all my life finding comfortable bras that fit so after the back issues I’ve had, these are a breath of fresh air! Plus, the price for 4 of them, considering how well they work for me… I just can’t beat that. I don’t like my sports bras to be real snug as I like to move in comfort. Order your true to size if you like them a little snug. For reference, I normally wear a 34B. The straps are wide a very comfortable on the shoulders and across the back. Keeps those back bulges in control! The soft cups are well made, fit the entire front chest area on each side (not skimpy) & are removable. The bras & cups wash very well. I do hang dry all my bras as they stay nice so much longer. Highly recommend.NOTE: as noted in other reviews, the pads do come in shrink wrap and are badly creased when you take them out. But they DO NOT stay that way after washing. After removing them from the wrap, pull gently & rub to relax the material, wash them, shape them & air dry. First, I’m a B cup and I’m not really working out in these much...at all. But, I needed comfy bras to wear around the house and when I was working from home so I tried these out. Because I don’t have big boobs, I also need something with some padding because like I said, I’m gifted in other areas. These have enough padding to make me feel like a woman and not look like a man with long hair. Plus one for that!They are really comfy and don’t lose their shape if you happen to wear them for 3 days in a row, including to sleep. (Don’t come for me you braless sleepers! I have nothing to “release” from the bra except the illusion that I have boobs.) The fit is great and they have a nice thick band at the bottom that keeps me from having an under bra busted biscuit can look. Plus one there!I work from home permanently now so I’m quite literally living in these. So much so that when my husband sees a real bra of mine outside of the closet, he asks where I’m going all dressed up. Like I said, I’m living in these things. The downside to them and the reason they aren’t perfect is the pads. The man who designed sports bras without pads sewn in (because it HAD to be a man who did that) was quite influential with his invention because these also have removable pads. I’m not sure why - why would you want to take the pad out? To wash it separately? If the pad needs to be washed, the whole bra surely does. If the bra needs to be washed, these thick, bouncy foam pads that absorb sweat like a pancake does syrup most definitely should also be washed.The pads do a great job of staying put for the first many washes but the pads have a satin liner on them…also not sewn onto the pad and that liner tends to disappear in the wash like that other sock. So they’re great overall but once the pads lose that satin liner or the liner gets even a little loose, those pads start folding up in the bra like origami paper. These would be 5 full stars without this weird pad issue. But they are still my favorite bra ever and each set I’ve bought had lasted me almost 12 full months before I’m done with twisted pretzel pads. Once the pad ends up in the band of the bra, it’s time for new ones. Which is guess is still a great value at 3 for about $35, every 12 or so months.
