It's as described and I'm fine with using them. My suggestion for improvement to the manufacturer is that the area covered by bristles should be wider. If you're going into a dog's mouth that doesn't want his teeth brushed, you want to cover as much of the area as possible quickly. It seemed like the rows of bristles were sort of narrow. I had to go in a few times to get it all. These are similar to those made for babies.
