The holster has retention screws with rubberized grommets that can be adjusted allow the user determine how tight the holster holds the gun. These retention screws work well. My negatives are that the paddle part of the holster is a bit flimsy and the tabs that are near the bottom of the paddle that are intended to prevent the holster from being pulled off one's belt/pants should be larger.
