As far as laptops/tablets/computers go, I don't think it is good value for money. The battery life is very very poor. When the screen is at the correct resolution for drawing the icons are so small, they are tricky to use (even with the pen). I have had many different laptops (microsoft windows based) and a Apple MacAir before, and this Wacom isn't as good as the Mac and only about average when compared against the windows laptops. Seeing as it cost about twice as much as the (windows based) laptops and the same price as a Mac - I don't think it is value for money. I won't buy one again after this one dies. Wacom should stick to what they know - and building laptop/tablets is NOT what they know. Good evening. **Q: do you get a warrenty on this ?** A: I bought amazon replacement insurance.I assume there is at least 12 maths warranty as there is on most electrical/electronic goods **Q: How long does the battery last and what applications are you using?** A: The battery gives about 5 hours. I use the Adobe big three and manga studio. I bought the 8gb model and put my own additional stick of ram in upgrading it to 16gb for a fraction of the price.I've been using the intuos4 for work for over 8 years and this feels pretty much the same. It takes a little getting used to moving from a tabletop tablet to a screen based one but it has meant I've been able to meet deadlines when I'm unable to be in the office.I haven't used it plugged into my computer as I have a dual monitor setup with IPS screens and this would be a bit of a downgrade from that.
