It has that perfect fluffy look and feel to it, it’s not flat or weighed down - it’s thick but in a lightweight way, making it breathable. It feels like that perfect inbetween of keeping you warm but also that cooling effect where you’re not too sweaty. I have had it for a few months now and have not had ANY feather leakage. Stitching is intact and sturdy between each square of down. I haven’t washed it yet, but I’ll probably bring it to a cleaners just to be safe - but it says it’s washable at home, they said removing the body oil from it frequently will keep it soft and last longer. The color is pure white. It’s perfect for that “come jump in bed” look, while also looking clean and sleek. I just bought a duvet cover to slip it in to protect it, which I highly recommend because the natural body oils and just daily use could damage it. The description was accurate, I think people get confused with the word “duvet”, but this is the comforter and the duvet cover would be the protection/ styling cover you’d place over it.
