It seems to me that dogs would enjoy the texture of the freeze-dried food much more than the ordinary hard kibble. Having three dogs (two of which are rather large), I would not choose to use this food for complete meals because of the cost. However, I did research other high-quality dog foods (better than what my dogs get fed) and found that the prices of those are also higher than I could justify paying.
