I wanted one to write in here and there about memories as my son grows older. So I really wanted quality & something small. I feel like it is hard to find journals with college ruled paper. This one is! It has a small paper pocket in the back. It has a ribbon bookmark. It has one of those binders to hold it close. The cover is sturdy. It doesn't seem like the pages will easily rip out. I got the navy blue color and I just love it, looks even better in person! When I find out the gender of my next baby, I already know right where to go to order the exact same journal.
