OCS-100 Clear Premium Quality Oil Change Stickers Static Cling, 100 Pack

Since I change my own oil in all of my vehicles, I know their mileage and when oil changes are due. However, there's nothing to communicate this to others.My wife's van was recently worked on for an unrelated issue, and the shop strongly suggested that we get an oil change because "there's no oil change sticker so it's probably long overdue." Now that I have these stickers, I can head off that argument easily, because the oil was not due for a change but of course they did not know that.The first vehicle I used one of these stickers in was my daughter's car, which she recently drove cross-country. Since she will probably need service at some point while she's gone, I thought it important for her and any mechanics to know when it was due.The stickers are a good size, with plenty of space to write. Some pens work better than others - classic ballpoint seems to work best. They're also easy to peel and stick, and come as a stack of individual pieces rather than a roll. This makes disposal of the backing quite easy since you just throw away the backing paper once you peel off the sticker - no tearing or having to deal with a strip of empty paper.

Don’t trust the idiots who say these don’t peel. If they looked closely they would see that they don’t peel from the edge. They peel in about 1/32 from the edge. They peel super easy and stick nicely to the windshield. Maybe those people who couldn’t get them to peel need to spend some money on a trip to the eye doctor. Lol.

I don't know if I got a bad old batch of these or what but let me tell you it was a chore to separate the paper backing from the film. These pics show the trial....First, it will separate leaving the thinnest of paper still attached. Next you'll fight to find any way to get the thin paper separated (if you have hyperopia (difficulty seeing things up close ((far-sightedness), no finger nails or, large hands don't even bother with this product! You'll finally get the outer edge band to come off BUT, without the paper backing. Simple things like this should not be so difficult - add a nice tab or extended paper layer to enable easy removal. I am less than pleased with this as it was waaaay more time consuming to use than I ever ever anticipated. I don't dare return this as shipping is more than I paid for the product. I'll leave this at one star - maybe they'll send me a different stack of 100. Unreal!

I'm a little particular when it comes to my vehicles and I do all the maintenance myself. With as many cars as I have I like to record the oil change dates and mileage. I ran out of my other stickers and ordered these. They don't hold a Sharpie very well and the writing is light but I can still read it, that's why they only get 3 stars. My other stickers held Sharpie very dark and easy to read.

Writing area is very tiny. Not even a regular fine Sharpie works good. You'll need an ultra-fine tip sharpie to be able to write clearly. Removal from its backing film is a little hard. Price is excellent and stickers do its overall purpose real well.Long Term Update: After several months stuck to my windshield under the Texas sun and heat, I cannot read the writing on it anymore. Now, this is a car I don't drive a lot so sticker has been there 4 months during all summer. So this part of my review may not be so useful for some. Still, worth mentioning.

they peeled off easily. I agree with at least one comment I saw from 2018 about the inability to easily peel this cling on from the paper backing. Despite what another reviewer said poo-pooing this and said it must be inability to see well, don't believe it. You'll spend almost as much time on trying to pry the cling on away from the backing as you well changing the oil...only a slight exaggeration. Ya, the cling on is on right at the edge, but it is STILL difficult to separate, even knowing this. I'm going to try another product.

Bought these to use on a friend's car so she can see when to have her oil changed next. I've put two of them on so far and they don't stay on the windshield, even though I cleaned and dried the surface before applying. Since these have only one job to do, and they don't do it, this was not a good purchase.

Product as described & no complaints. These are one of the best ideas from service industry & I believe they'll help my folks with thier car quite a bit as well as keep my Hemi clean.

I do a lot of my own maintenance and on my daughters car. I got these to remind her when servicing is due. Its a simple concept, vinyl cling, just right and stick. However, it is not easy to separate the vinyl cling from the backing (old stock?) and they don't cling very well. Some have fallen off after a few days. Eventually you get a good one that stays. Its probably 50/50 success rate.

Works as expected. I prefer these translucent decals with the static cling as opposed to stickers which are too messy when you need to remove/replace them. A little pricey tho.

I do all the oil changes for our three vehicles plus a couple that belong to family members. I used to TRY to keep track of the mileage and dates of oil changes in a book but it was becoming a pain in the butt. These work great and the price was well worth it.
