Having already bought some Zelite Infinity knives and being very impressed with both the quality and premium feel. I decided to check out the new offerings from the company. I had only planned to purchase the boning and utility knife to top up my range, but was impressed by the feedback and looks of this chefs knife so decided to buy this as well. I'm so glad that I did. I am somewhat of an avid cook and I'm very particular about using top quality knives, so when this arrived I was eager to test it out and compare to the current Zelite knives I have already purchased.Before getting into the review its worth mentioning that I ordered this knife on the Wednesday and they were delivered the next day, what’s remarkable about this was that the delivery was free, so I was expecting a 3-5 day delivery!Upon opening the Amazon box I was impressed with the quality of the packaging the knife was in and once opened the knife inside oozed quality even before you picked it up. I believe the way a product is presented and the care and attention that has gone into the packaging can tell a lot about the quality standards that a company exhibits. In Zelite Infinities case this is top notch.So into the kitchen to test out how this great looking knife performs!Once in the hand the knife feels very balanced and comfortable. The Chef's Knife looks stunning with its understated blade. And from an aesthetic point of view they look quality in my kitchen. Slicing hard vegetables was an effortless undertaking, with its razor sharp blade from the handle to the tip, the knife made short work of any food item that was put in front of it.Holding the knife felt extremely comfortable and with its rounded handle I would not expect to show any blisters over an extended usage time.Some of the work that this knife has already undertaken are:-Dicing chicken whilst cooking a stir fryChopping all vegetables whilst preparing a Sunday dinnerSlicing steak into strips for a Steak Philly baguettesChopping onions, peppers, tomatoesThis knife at this price point is outstanding. I have the more expensive VG10 Zelite knife which is a real top end product. This knife holds its own, and is highly recommended for anyone looking to add to their kitchen utensils at a more than decent price. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Another winner added to the product line from Zelite *by A***R on 4 December 2016* The Zelite Infinity Santoku Knife arrived exactly like the seller said it would on the date specified on purchase. The first thing that strikes you is the Uber cool and quality box that the knife is packaged in. This gives a great first impression and once you get the knife in your hand you realise that no attention to detail has been spared to ensure that there is extremely high quality throughout the product.The knife itself feels very comfortable in the hand with a very good weight distribution and whilst only using it for a short time the grip is very comfortable and I would imagine that prolonged use wouldn't cause any issues to the hand.One thing to be wary of is that the blade is extremely sharp so take care as I found out when I nicked my hand on the back part of the blade, totally careless by me and a lesson learned!! However hand aside this is exactly what I was looking for in this knife. My previous knifes were always an effort to use due to the blade never having been really as sharp as one would expect even after sharpening. No such problems with the Zelite knife, fantastic edge retention and as sharp as it should be.Using the knife was a dream, it cut up the steaks I was preparing effortlessly with little sawing action needed to get through the meat. It also glided through the tougher vegetables such as carrots with ease. It really is an all rounder.Overall a fantastic addition to my kitchen and I can't recommend this product highly enough.Well done Zelite and producing a high quality and Uber cool product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent knife. A joy to use.Update on this product after a year or so: Almost daily use and only had to hone the blade once - with a lfew strokes using leather strop. £20 for this quality is exceptional value for money.
