It WORKS!!!
We had fun with this. There are other recipes for this; make sure you find one that's specifically for the Kitchenaide Extruders and definitely believe them when they say you want your pasta on the dry crumbly side. But then? Just go for it. My kid had so much fun with this. And cleanup is EASY! BONUS POINTS for that! Yeah, we have the flat pasta maker too; it's a 30 minute project you can do with your kids that is easy to clean up, gets INSTANT rewards when you make a sauce to throw on the pasta and they get to eat their own creations and it's FUN! You can buy seminola flour online; definitely use the right flour or you'll be sad.

Faulty Junk
1st time worked great, but broke on the second use. Speedy replacement for exchange. The new model broke the same way with first use.The problem is that the back separates, and cracks. Without the appropriate tension, the dough will not push through the pasta maker, rendering it useless. After making homemade dough & letting it rest while sauce is simmering on the stove, having the pasta maker break in the middle of use is extremely disappointing. This is the second unit with the same faulty construction. You’ve been warned.

Worked well
This worked well. I suppose the “real McKoy” is sturdier but I’m not an industrial pasta maker and this is very functional. Easy to use, easy to clean. The only issue is finding a good recipe which is equally difficult for “the real McKoy” it seems. The dough needs to be dry dry dry. But that’s not the machines fault. Good value for the money.

Should be cheaper
Not bad, hard to clean out.

Crappy Pasta Maker
I actually had to throw this away because of how bad it worked. The first use it made horrible noises and basically broke. I followed the instructions to a T. I’ve been making fresh pasta for years and was excited to finally advance just to get this piece of crap. I did read the reviews but assumed for the price you get what you pay for but this is worse. It should be cheaper since it’s bound to break. My advice? Do not purchase it! Although it may seem like it’s easy to use, directions say form a tiny ball and it’ll form itself no matter the size it will not work. If you do buy this at your own risk I hope it works for you but heed my warning. This pasta maker is a piece of crap!

works but the quality is what it is
THe roller shows that the materials are poor and you can tell the difference with the original Kitchen Aid.But the KA is priced three times, so this is for me a backup. The weird part is that the metal roll has a texture while it should not have one and only by shiny.fair enough
