This fountain pen REALLY should've got 4 stars because the ink converter was malfunctioning & I didn't have any that fit well. I finally got it to work after a bit of a hassle that I was surprised by, and after that, it was pure bliss like I've experienced with ALL my Liseur brand fountain pens! The design is sublime for the female fountain fanatic, with intricate detail well beyond the fanciful flower pattern covering the entire pen. The "x" pattern found on the gold base after removing the cap is just one of those details that make me thrilled to own this model; and the cap's golden swirl on top pairs marvelously well with the gold middle pattern. The EF nib writes effortlessly on the page as a great fountain pen should, without any problems whatsoever. I am now considering other colors because this pen is just too charming not to have more!
