I use them at the gym and when I am outside running so they absorb a lot of sweat yet still stay fresh after washing for over a year. Soft to the skin and I have had no trouble with pilling that someone else mentioned. 12 x 44 when my previous ones were 11 x 38 so they have gotten a little longer if that is an issue for you. It is not for me. The seller provided fantastic customer service when I wanted a different package quantity for the color I wanted then was listed on Amazon. I wanted something to use instead of the complementary gym towels during my run, but this is too long. I can't really drape it on the treadmill, and I'm not a sexy heroine from the 80s so I won't drape it around my shoulders. It's too big rolled up to fit in the cupholders or even in the little tray thing.
