I bought this 3D pen for my sister, and for the price, it's quite a fun and creative tool. It works exactly as advertised, and she was able to start making simple 3D figures almost immediately. The included PLA filaments are a nice starter pack to get going. It's lightweight and easy to hold. The reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the heat. The pen's body gets quite warm, and the nozzle (tip) becomes extremely hot during operation. This is NOT a toy for young children to use unsupervised. For an older kid (13-14) or a beginner, it's fine, but strict adult supervision is absolutely necessary to prevent accidental burns.
