**Q: Is this model made in USA,or China?**
A: CHINA. The grind is terrible and it was not sharp at all. Be prepared to put some work into this one right outta the box. If you have been waiting for this knife all year like me I'm sorry to say you might be a little disappointed.

**Q: is the back spacer made of plastic?**
A: It's hard to tell. If it is plastic, it is high quality, very hard bowling ball-like plastic. The knife is as solid as they come.

**Q: Hello. What is the blade steel made from? Thanks.**
A: 8Cr13MoV.... A.K.A. generic Chinese stainless steel.  Not the most exotic or technologically advanced steel with any magical properties, but it's a perfectly adequate steel for most peoples' purposes.  Low cost, and it's the most common steel you'll find on Kershaw's Chinese-made budget-line knives.

**Q: This knife or the sog twitch ii?**
A: The Kershaw is a frame lock and the Twitch is a lock back. I can close a frame lock with one hand and the lock back takes both hands. I am all about being able to use one hand, which the Kershaw allows me to do.

    Good Little Knife

This is a really cool little knife. It comes very sharp straight out of the box, looks cool, actually feels very solid in the hand. The Speed Safe assisted opening device is a little tight, but with a flick of the wrist when actuation the flipper, the knife pops right open and locks well. Most knives that open stiff straight out of the box tend to relax over time with use so don't let this be a determining factor when considering to purchase this little guy. I recommend this if you're looking for a small quality pocket knife.Update: 06/09/2016This little guy is really sharp, straight out of the box! I had to cut some rope with it the other day (3/8 inch nylon) and slipped right through it like a hot knife through butter. I have found that the speed safe mechanism tends to become smoother with use, without making any adjustments. I was also able to move the clip from one side to the other without any issues. Used a dab of loctite to keep the screws in place and good to go. This knife is a great addition to anyone's pocket. Still highly recommend this knife.

I'm a fan of Kershaw knives and this is no exception, a nice design using all metal construction all at an affordable price.Blade was however not centered and needed to adjust the torx screw which I could fix without an actual tool ( I don't possess torx set) by clamping one side and twisting my thumb clockwise.

I have been carrying a pocket knife for decades and have tried several knives.  Recently, I found out that if the carry a knife on public school grounds, the blade has to be under 2.5" in some states.This fits the requirement but is still large enough to hold and use.  The blade is not some wonder steel but it gets sharp and can hold an edge.  This steel is also easy to sharpen when the time comes.I like the shape of the blade and the pocket clip hangs on to may pants well.  No worries about losing it.Overall, I plan to use this knife as my main EDC and it is reasonably priced.
