I like that it takes up little space. It is also cleverly designed so you can do kettlebell exercises and full bar routines because of how everything can be connected. The weights are encased in plastic so they should last while adding some protection to whatever floor surface you use. This is great for maintaining or building base strength. If you are looking to build mass this is probably not going to work but if you want to improve your overall fitness and strength this will do that. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Complete set, but some weights are not very precise. *by X***N on Reviewed in the United States on 28 May 2024* This is a complete set of weights and handles to make dumbbells, barbells and kettlebells in a variety of weights and combinations. The grips are comfortable and everything feels quite solid.The weight plates come in three sizes (we get four of each size) listed in metric as 0.75kg, 1.25kg, and 2.5kg (all translated to 50lbs (???) in the manual, see picture). Obviously that's not right and the Amazon site shows the imperial weights correctly as 1.65, 2.75, and 5.5. lbs. The bigger plates are clearly marked with their weight in kg, but the small 0.75kg plates have no markings at all. (See picture)The empty dumbbell bar is 0.465kg and the lightest possible dumbbell is thus about 2 kg (1 Bar, 2 small plates, nuts), but many different higher weighs are possible by adding plates. We can make two dumbbells at ~9.5kg each. Mix & match!The barbell connector adds 490 grams.The kettlebell hardware (grip and threaded pin) is 686 grams.Simple math allows calculating the final weight of the desired assembly by adding the weight of hardware and plates.The heavier plates are reproducibly accurate. The four 1.25kg plates weight 1.26, 1.28, 1.25, 1.26kg and the four 2.5kg plates measure as 2.48, 2.54, 2.42, 2.52kg, resp. This is impressively low variation.However, the 0.75 kg plates are all underweight and up to ~15% off. I weighted them as 0.71, 0.63(!!), 0.70, 0.71kg. I expected less variation here. True, we probably won't really notice a difference, but this hints at a lack of quality control.The heavier weights don't have threads and simply slip on. However, the 0.75kg plates are threaded and take a bit longer to put in place. In addition, we must secure everything with orange washers and "spinlock" nuts. Chances are that we keep them assembled in the desired configurations and rarely change them.The manual sheet mostly lists the contents and how to assemble the various options. An entire page is dedicated to a "wellness plan" with suggestions for dietary intake for food (2 scenarios, one for "fat loss" and one for "muscle gain"), water intake, as well as sleep schedules. The recommended food intake is given in grams per pound of body weight and requires some mathematical acrobatics, especially since they mix metric and imperial measurements in the same formula! I am sure better guidelines can be found online.Overall, a versatile and comfortable set that allows many different weights and styles that are all easy do assemble, even without instructions. My issue is mostly with the small plates. Their weight should be more accurate and they should be labeled. These are minor flaws of and otherwise great set. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Bulky and not quite fully usable *by C***R on Reviewed in the United States on 2 June 2024* First off, the packaging was just a loose box with everything rattling around. Not exactly a great idea with 50lbs of stuff. About 1/3 of the weights had some damage. The weights are not metal, they are some type of compressed powder/cement. Longevity of this material is unknown to me, especially with some of the weights being damaged and now the material is open to the air.So, I got the 50lb set but that's a bit of a lie. The actual weight in the set is 18kgs, which amounts to ~40lbs. The handles are subsequently plastic and and do not make up for that 10lbs. What is worse is you can't fit all the weights onto a single dumbbell, only 15kgs. I was quite disappointed with this, not only can I barely do anymore than the 25lb dumbbells I already own, I'm completely capped early with not having the full 50lbs. What makes this all worse is the little guide booklet that came with my set was actually for the 70lb set, which showed more weights being supplied. This confused me for a minute while I figured out what was going on, because I counted the actual weights and as I said before, I was not up to 50lbs. I'm willing to bet they only send that one booklet with all the sets, incredibly deceiving. From what I can see, the bars are likely the same for all weight sets so getting the heavier set still limits you to 20kgs most likely on one dumbbell.The actual function of the set is okay. Long screws for both the weights but also the lock nuts. If you roll the dumbbells around though, they do have the tendency to loosen pretty easily. They won't un-thread themselves all the way but it is pretty hard to keep everything tight.
