I read Countdown to Killing Curtis nearly three years ago and that book has still remained my favourite by this author, until now. This was an unputdownable read that will have you totally captivated from first to last page. Tyler Caldwell will be at the top of many a book boyfriend list and as our jock gets knocked on his a**, you will be glad you were there to witness it. This book is chock full of trade mark Lauren Rowe humour but this book is also full of heart. I adored everything about it and this will definitely be one book that I re-read time and time again.“Does that mean I’m a lifelong memory now?”“You already were.”Tyler was devastatingly handsome, a little cocky and had that flair of arrogance about his abilities, but it wasn’t unwarranted, he was an NFL recruit in the making and it wouldn’t be long. Tyler was extremely focused and driven, he knew what he wanted and he knew what he had to do get it, and a girlfriend was definitely not on the list. Tyler has seen what love does to a guy on the pitch and until his career was settled he didn’t need the distraction.Zooey was a freshman studying theatre with aspirations of becoming Elphaba in Wicked on Broadway and she had the pipes to back it up. Zooey was quiet and shy and having been brought up by her dad she had been sheltered and over protected. Zooey Cartwright and Tyler Caldwell do just that in Lauren's latest release, Misadventures of a College Girl. Not only did this story make me feel each and every emotion they experienced, it made me laugh out loud, swoon as well as burn through the pages to find out what would happen next.Zooey Cartwright is a freshman at UCLA. She hasn't been saving herself, per say but has not given away her virtue either. She is determined to change that status. When she meets Tyler Caldwell, the cocky star of their football team and finds he might just be the guy to help her with this quest of hers. However Tyler is nothing like she expects and she ends up walking away embarrassed and unsatisfied, vowing to forget things ever happened. But Tyler has other plans for Zooey Cartwright.I loved reading this book. Tyler Caldwell is fantastic. He is definitely a book boyfriend many will be fighting over for a long time to come. This book was everything!! I fell in love with Captain Morgan hard, one of Lauren's wonderful books, but Tyler, lawd have mercy!! Never thought Captain Morgan would get knocked out of his throne. I mean come in he’s A MORGAN! Lauren you’re a genius. Your words in this book slayed me, they ripped through my heart, yet you also made me laugh like crazy, the lines you come up with! #priceless, and then I found myself wanting to kick Tyler’s butt, then cry again, talk about an emotional roller coaster ride!You let us see Tyler and Zooey raw, joking, bantering with each other, become more than best friends, you gave us their past, showing how broken they each were, not knowing that the fates had a plan with their broken hearts.Tyler and Zooey’s love story is profound, epic. It’s about destiny, about fate, about passion and family, it’s about following your dreams. I’m so in love with this book, can you tell?Lauren from the first book of yours that I read, you became the reason I set my standards very high when it came to reading, and College Girl only confirms this a hundred times more.
