So I did research and looked through reviews for many bags and ended up purchasing this one. And it doesn't disappoint! The shoe compartment on the bottom is perfect and there are ventilation holes. (Another reviewer showed a picture of their shoes saying it wasn't big enough to hold normal size shoes; that's because you were trying to for put your shoes in the front zipper pocket, not the shoe compartment.) There are pockets everywhere which is great. The paddle compartment and built-in divider keeps the paddles in perfect condition. The water bottle holders on the sides hold big water bottles which I appreciate, my other bag only held snaller bottles. And the biggest bonus is the cooler packet that keeps my drinks cold, it works great! The backpack straps are padded and comfortable. And the zippers are high quality and smooth.
