They come with a flexible brush for cleaning the inside to rid of all the build up. This was exactly what I was looking for. Seller is certainly thoughtful. Our straws go in the dish washer and they are still looking good after a few cycles. I certainly clean the inside of the straws after a few uses - unfortunately it is a hands on job and there is no way round that if you want clean straws.The straws look classy which heighten my cocktails. Gladly to report that they don’t leave metallic taste in your mouth.As for hot drinks, I don’t have to worry about melting the plastic.
