Very dangerous, subpar hardware and useless instructions! DONT BUY!!!
The produce is definitely heavy duty steel. Assembly diagram was present but none of the bolts were labeled in correspondence so it was useless. There was also NO torque specs for bolt included. All bolts are as low grade as you can find. Very dangerous! I broke two critical bolts off attempting to torque them. Now the stand carrier is useless. Very dangerous, I will not use and I recommending NOT buying this!

Excellent Value for the price !!
WORKS GREAT!!!I bought this dirt bike carrier to haul my Honda 250 on the back of my Chevy Tahoe and it WORKED GREAT!!!Easy to load and strap. The free loading ramp stored underneath the carrier and was easy to use. The baskets made it great to carry gas cans and my ice chest. No more need to carry my gas cans inside my truck. It is made of heavy duty steel and built well to support my dirt bike. I used it to take my bike to the desert over the weekend with no problems. The 3D assembly instructions made it easy to assemble. All of my friends also liked the motorcycle carrier with storage basket and have since bought these carriers over the weekend. I will definitely recommend this product. Great job WMA!!

Not up to the challenge or the rated weight
assembly instructions were as bad a IKEA. Product rated for 1000Lbsand ramp bent when we loaded a 600 Lb bike on it.

Don't buy it
The carrier pictured on amazon is apparently the "old" model. I was told I received the "new" model! The new version doesn't have hand tightened bolts for the sliding tie down bars so you have to get a tool out to tighten them every time. One of the bars I received has a cracked weld too. The box had metal shavings and there were pieces of metal struck in several holes. I had to drill them out so bolts could go through and in areas where you slide bars in and out they were immediately gouged and scraped from metal shavings. Now this thing has deep gouges and scratches in the paint. Also this carrier is back breaking heavy! It requires two people to handle it once assembled and I would suggest putting it together on your car. Once assembled it will take two people to remove it and it doesn't sit on the ground level so the baskets tweak and it just sucks! Don't buy this heavy junky made in China carrier! How do you return this heavy big piece of junk? The company isn't far from my house but talking to them is like speaking to third graders. Give me my money back! This thing was expensive!

Trash
As many reviewers have noted there are no instructions included and the hardware is soft garbage which WILL break. Two of the nuts that are welded onto the frame are welded over the threads so the bolts cannot be installed. I rarely write negative reviews but this thing is absolute garbage. Don’t waste your money.

Worth every penny.
This rack is legit. Rack weighs 200lbs, it will carry 400 lbs in the basket area, it will carry 400 lbs on the motorcycle ramp. The baskets are great because my gear sits down inside and I just run a cargo net over it to keep it in. I never worry about anything falling out or off. The last photo shows two yellow straps I use to use to stabilize it but since I purchased a StowAway Hitch Tightener I don't use the yellow straps anymore.

it's easy to get my bike onto it
1 Star because this vendor has re-listed this item under different ASINs 4 times to try and skirt this review, which was originally 2 stars. They have no want to actually improve their product or stand behind it.This item came well packaged (two separate boxes, one with the baskets and some hardware, the other with the main bars and ramp). i paid for standard shipping, and it arrived in 2 days via Ontrac (helps that im west coast). The manual inside suggests getting another anti-wobble device (it includes one, but upsells are different one). Overall, it's easy to get my bike onto it..I'm rating this 2 stars because it holds my bike up, but it's 3x more expensive than aluminum alternatives and 5x less useful.Issue #1 (Minor): Manual isn't correct about where the front tire stop goes, it matches the photo for this product (left). It ends up having to go on the right. At the end of assembly you realize this when the baskets have no where to bolt to because it required the main carrier to be backwards.Issue #2: The ramp has 2 'teeth' that drop in on the end to hold it on when in use. One of these broke the 2nd time I loaded it.Issue #3: The ramp is almost impossible to remove after you've wheeled the bike onto the ramp, because you have to lift it up a 3/4 inch to get the teeth out, but your rear wheel is sitting on top of it. (Tested with a KTM XC-W and another Honda dirt bike, both overlap it). This is even more of a pain if you are solo loading, because you need to get it strapped in before you can mess with removing the ramp, at which point you can't lift the tire. Competitors handle this by not putting the ramp right on the area the wheel rolls, but put it an inch lower. They also don't use teeth, they use a full length coupled that can handle different elevations for the ramp.Issue #4: The ramp "slides" in for storage. Unfortunately, the pin hole that you shove the clip through is also covered by the bike tire, so there's zero way to secure it.Issue #5: We hauled this on both a Toyota 4Runner and an Audi Q5, with (and without) the baskets, its clearance was 4 inches on the Q5, and 5 inches on the 4runner. We removed the baskets completely because it would bottom out on driveways and ORV park terrain. Even with the baskets removed, there is a stabilizer bolt that goes under the center of the main bike carrier area.. This bolt 1/2 scraped off after the 2nd drive.. Very poor placement. This issue may be a complete non-issue on a truck, but don't buy it on an mid sized SUV.Issue #6: To get a 3 year warranty on this product, up from 1 year.. They include a piece of paper telling yo uthat you must leave a 5 star review on Amazon. That sounds a lot like compensating someone for giving a solid review. If their product was a quality product, they would simply ask you to leave a review, and let you rate it based on your experience.Issue #7: There were really no instructions included, just a breakout/schematic drawing of bolts. This made putting it together take a bit longer. A simple 1 page instruction would speed it up.Issue #8: Their paperwork claims the ramp is "free" and not to expect to put much weight on it. The ramp wasn't free, it's party of the item description, therefor it was paid for.I mainly purchased this for the baskets to store fuel.. Not worth the hassle, this thing also weighs a ton being steel.. I bought a Rage Powersports AMC-400 at the same time, used that on my buddies car for his 4 stroke, so light, so easy.. I ordered one of those for myself, for my 210 pound bike, it's more than enough and has none of the issues found on this one.. and i can still strap my gas can to it if i need to.Try buying B001IUV1CM instead, its better.

Worthless assembly instructions; slow-to-respond customer support
I bought this unit, plus the anti-wobble device they recommend, directly from the manufacturer's website. The items were delivered promptly in two pieces.Upon opening each carton, I discovered that there was virtually no detailed, step-by-step assembly instructions. I looked at everything for about an hour and then gave up until I had more time.I sent a request via email asking for step-by-step assembly instructions, or a video showing how to assemble and was sent a 1 page PDF that I was supposed to be able to use to assemble. The parts were not clearly marked so I had no way of referencing each part on the PDF to the part itself.I spent a full day last Saturday trying to assemble, only to realize that pieces were missing. While this is a sturdy unit, I cannot recommend it because of the lack of detailed assembly instructions and very slow to respond customer service.
