ideal for most gardens
The 50cm width gets over most lawns quite quickly, 60cm would be better, but then the weight may be too much for some people - unless you only part filled the drum and being able to empty the drum allows for easy storage in the winter. The fill hole is fine for a hose, but if trying to fill with sand it could do with being at least 50% bigger .Not ultra robust and my drum had a small 'ding' in it, but not worth the hassle of sending back and does not effect the use and great improvement on what was a real ant infected lumpy lawn.Certainly good value

Does the job.
This roller seems sturdy and well made. The drum is pretty accurately round, so you can set the scraper very close without it catching. I'm using it to level out old flower beds to return them to lawn and I wanted it as heavy as possible, so I filled it with sand rather than water for the extra weight. It's nice and heavy now, but pulling it across newly laid topsoil is still doable. The only niggle (and the reason for knocking a star off the review) is the small fill hole. It'd be fine for water, but normal builders sand has absolutely no chance of flowing through it. You'd have to get kiln-dried sand instead, which is much more expensive, or do what I did - cut a much larger hole with an angle grinder and pop-rivet a plate over it after filling with cheapo sand.

Plenty big enough for the job
This roller is a good piece of kit. I wouLd strongly recommend that you fill with kiln dried sand rather than water as the difference in weight is significant (sand being heavier than water). This also stops the unit from rusting. Weight when full is around 120kg against 70kg with water. Assembles easily enough and is strong and heavy enough for a very bumpy lawn

Could be better designed
Prompt delivery,a good product, however the size of the hole to fill it is too small, making it very difficult to fill. The roller itself is good quality and a good size, but I have only rated it as three stars because of this design fault.

Did the job
Easy to assemble, filled with water. Worked well for the job of levelling and flattening.

Bent frame
Wish I had listened to others about this product. Took 40 to fill up with sand only to find frame was bent.

Excellent product & delivery service
No dislikes, was very good value for money. It was used to level the garden ready for turfing.

Too light
I've filled mine with water and it's still way too light. In fact it barely makes any difference even on a lawn that's been absolutely saturated for a number of days. It's a bit of a gimmick that will probably rust away behind my shed over the next 20 years.
