The stone colors were a little off, but you can still tell which one is which. I was able to fit 13 charms (one for each of the kids, grandkids, and great grands) with PLENTY of room for more. The chain also seems strong, which is good for the weight of this locket. The jewels rest inside between the glass front and back, piling up at the bottom. You get two metal tree plates, so you can use zero, one, or both. The plates don't lock in so know that they will roll.
