The popular standard model of yoga mats that are 195 cm long and 5 mm thick. This model is extra-long and extraordinarily soft and flexible. The yoga mat 'Plus' is for next-to-skin comfort* and has a sturdy, non-slip surface. Despite its extraordinary length, it is relatively light, flexible and made up of a very rugged and smooth material. It is well insulated against cold floors and can either be rolled or folded for supporting yoga positions or asanas.     Slippery - how do I fix this?

Just trying out this mat for the first time and I'm finding it really slippery, to the point where I'm about to give up. In downward dog my hands slide away from me, which hasn't happened before. It's also dangerous for some yoga poses. How can I fix the slipperiness?

Sehr ausführlich habe ich die Rezensionen von verschiedenen Yogamatten studiert und habe mich für diese Matte entschieden. Leider war das eine schlechte Entscheidung und ich möchte von einem Kauf abraten. Die Matte riecht zwar nicht und ist für Menschen ohne Rückenprobleme auch von der Dicke her völlig ausreichend ABER sobald die Hände etwas schwitzig werden rutscht man sofort weg! Irgendeine Beschichtung hinterlässt einen schmierigen Film auf den Händen und man hat gar keinen Halt mehr. Ich hatte gehofft, dass das nur am Anfang so sein wird aber nach zwei Monaten regelmäßiger Benutzung hat sich nichts geändert. Der Aufkleber mit "Yogistar" rutscht auch langsam ab. Man könnte auch denken, dass es sich um ein Fake-Produkt handelt....?!

Schöne lang und ausreichend dick. Was schon in anderen Bewertungen zu lesen ist, stimmt leider. Im Auslieferungszustand ist die Matte in Kiombination mit Feuchtigkeit kaum rutschfest, es bildet sich ein schmieriger Film zwischen Haut und Matte. Nach einmaliger Reinigung ist dieser Effekt aber so gut wie weg und man kann die Matte nutzen.Habe mir gerade die 2. bestellt.
