It was a little tricky to figure out how to get the lights coordinated because there were minimal instructions. Once we figured it out, the product worked fine and my son was happy. However, I'm not sure if most kids have the patience to remember to plug in their shoes on a regular basis. The charging cable is likely to get lost if you don't carefully mark and store it upon arrival. Something to think about for parents who don't need extra bits and pieces getting lost around the house.
