It was fairly easy to put together. I found that cleaning out the pre-drilled holes before you begin was most important. Instructions may seem a bit complicated at first (read thoroughly before you start). All parts are very well made, the bed looks impressive when complete and is so comfortable. Item was packaged very well. Easy to build and instructions were simple to follow. I built the bed on my own in about 3 hours. Mattresses are also good quality and comfortable.
