I do realize that when I first stick them in, I can't just immediately throw my foot in, I have to hold it with my finger and slide my heel in carefully, if I don't then my heel pulls it off a little and pulls it down. After that initial time, then it sticks against the shoe and stays there, and from then on it doesn't come off anymore. I love it, I got some new shoes that everyone on reviews complained blistered their heels, and with these I had no problem. Also in an older pair of shoes where it bothered my heel, with these on I had no problem.
