The user interface is a bit strange and takes some getting used to. The auto threader takes more time than just doing it by hand. While unboxing - DO NOT MISS the little white bag of accessories that is tucked into the white Styrofoam. This has your embroidery foot and other things you'll need. Needless to say... I missed it. Called Brother customer service and they gave me a very strange reason why they would not send out a replacement, even after offering to purchase it. The agent was disingenuously apologetic and apathetic to my plight. Somewhat disappointed.
