It’s held up wonderfully and while, yeah, it’s hella stiff out of the box once you wear it enough times it becomes a very comfortable nylon bracelet that’s molded exactly to your wrist.If you’ve ever broken in Birkenstocks, same basic thing happens here—it feels wrong for the first few wears, then starts to get shaped like you. And like Birks, once the strap is broken in it stays in place for the pulse monitor, just from the solid surface contact without you having to wear it very tightly.I did get some irritation from nylon “burrs” on the underside of the strap where the holes for the buckle were punched through with a hot awl. I had a bit of the same on the heat sealed edge of the bottom join on the free keeper loop.
