Whilst they do look very similar to denim, they are like *l*eggings: not *j*eggings. I would advise you to wear something to cover your underwear area as they are quite thin. Surprisingly, considering that, they actually keep you warm, so therefore better for cooler weather, (spring/ autumn), rather than summer in my opinion. Have elasticated waist. Would look okay worn with boots, trainers or sandals. Lengthwise, I'm approx. 5' 5"' tall and they stop about 1-1½inches before my ankle. Overall, comfortable to wear, with plenty of stretch. Only issues are that they do bobble slightly at top of inner thighs after a couple wears and I did find a slight itchiness on the inside leg seam, but forgot about it after a while once kept on all day. Aside from that, still look fine after a few washes and have kept colour so far. The stretch makes sense as it follows the width(thighs) not the length. Wear these everyday with tunic tops or shorter length t shirts and they are comfortable and look like jeans. Have washed well too. Have pulled a thread on one pair with a bracelet so this is something to be aware of. Love them !
