I got the black one after finding the red 2 litre in a search, simply because the black was more my taste, I did realise it was 3.4 litre but didn't focus on the dimensions so much when I ordered - it is pretty big! However, we've filled it several times over now so I'm glad I went for the larger one. I'd have preferred the lid not to be bright orange, but that's just being fussy!
