Used them at Halloween last year, then Christmas, then changed it to bright white light and now incandescent white (a little more warm white) and keep them in place all year to illuminate the perimeter of the house! No wires. Let them charge for a day or two in the sun to start right out of the box. They have been working like a champ since. Will likely order another set this fall.
