**Q: can I stain existing concrete tops to my gateposts**
A: Hi. Unfortunately not - this is intended to be used as a mortar admixture not a surface coating.

**Q: How much dye do I use to how much water?!  I am pointing patio pavers and wanting a dark grey colour but no idea what 10kg of mortar looks like.**
A: 10kg mortar looks about enough to half fill a 25kg sack that your mortar/cement came in

**Q: Can you us for grout?**
A: You can use on the following:
Mortars, renders and screeds. Pointing mortars, Colouring cement based tile grouts.

**Q: Do you have a light grey colour in the mortar tone i have an area of cement tiles that were slightly discoloured by fertilizer**
A: The dye fades after a while in sunlight

It works great mixed with concrete, mixed with concrete sealer and diluted with water for curing your concrete. Tried all 3 mentioned methods and it worked really well. It gives really black black.

If want black cement to stay black once drys need at least half a bottle to a 25kg bag of ordinary Portland cement. Suggest a shot per 10kg. No where near enough dry just a different shade of grey. Overall very good product once get ratio sorted.
