So we did but it was a bit windy that evening so the tubes were not standing up and it was hard to keep the matches lit. When we found a spot that blocked the wind, we tried again. This time the paper didn't stay lit long enough to burn all the way down. It went out not even halfway down. So it did not fly, which was a disappointment. And it was only the two of us so we only needed a couple pieces of paper but even this small pack came with so much paper, I don't know when we will ever use all of it. The small pack should come with less or something so that it could be cheaper.
