Paid a little more to get the kitty that purrs etc. Our 7yr old was excited to add it to her collection of kitties. The little house seems to be sturdy, all the pieces were there, the kitties is soft and was making sounds like her real live cats. Age range is ok for this, younger child might need help Putting the house together.
