Bends. Too big.
Update: I found that drilling a small pilot hole works well. No probelms with these nails then. I was hoping to get away from doing a lot of concrete drilling, but at least it's a solution.A smaller version of this nail came in an OOK kit that I bought. It works fine. This larger nail bends for me before it is deep enough to hang the picture. If I needed the weight specs offered by a nail this size, I would use a concrete screw. Probably would be ok in wood...maybe concrete block. I have high density poured concrete walls. Just doesn't work in my application.

Great For Rock Solid Walls
These nails are decorative and sturdy which is why they are my choice for wall hanging on the very hard lath & plaster walls of my house. Why Home Depot doesn't carry them in this size and packaging baffles me. But there is good ol' Amazon to the rescue.

Doesn't Work on Concrete/Steel Walls, Nailhead May Be Too Large for Picture Hanging
I used a strong Dewalt drill with a masonry bit to help get this nail into the wall as a starting point (I'm finding that my walls are made of a thin layer of drywall and some serious concrete or something else beyond that). I placed the very thick bendless nail into the wall and hammered the stubborn nail like there was no tomorrow. To no avail, the nail did not move a smidge. Not even an iota. It didn't bend but what a waste! Also, if you're planning to use this to hang pictures, as a heads up, these nails are very thick in diameter...I'd say 3/4 the thickness of an iPhone 5 (sorry - don't have a ruler w/ me at the moment). And the nail head is so large, think of it as being about 1/2 the size of a typical push pin...So if you your picture has a specified placement of the nailhead, keep this in mind as it just might not fit.I hope I'll have use for this in the future.

Worked for my Concrete Walls
These worked perfectly for concrete walls in my rental. Before these, I tried regular nails, power drill with super-strong drill bits, but that was not enough. I wasn't aware there were concrete-specific nails, and when I saw these on Amazon, I decided to give them a try. I had already damaged the wall a lot with previous efforts, so I though what the heck.. Why not give this a try as well. All it needed was some muscle power and a hammer and BAM! These nails were in the the stubborn concrete wall. All I'm saying is, get these if your standard nails fail.

Brick walls are conquered.
I can nail things into my walls! My older home has walls were the brick is not far below the wallboard. Nails and screws bent often, making it impossible to hang pictures, curtain rods, or anything heavy. These nails allowed me to hang everything I needed without a problem.

Might work...if you can avoid smashing your finger with a 1.5 inch nail :-(
I'm sure bend-less nails probably serve a purpose somewhere in the universe, but 1 1/2 inch isn't long enough to prevent smashing your fingers with every swing of the hammer. It doesn't do me any good to have a hard nail if I can't swing hard enough to get it into anything. Spend your money on a nail-gun or something instead!

Yeah right...sure they don't bend!
I had these plus some hardened steel ones. I was hammering a hardened steel one in and it bent. So I tried one of these, it went in like a hot knife through butter, and I was sold....That was until I kept using them. Out of the 10, 5 of them bent! I was expecting a couple to maybe snap, but if sold as can't bend, then these are horrible!

Wonderful for Concrete Walls
My walls were bare because I couldn't put a conventional nail in the wall. These are great. They go right in. I don't like the super thin OOK nails - those tend to break and go flying. Non bending means that these nails can instead snap in half. So be careful. But this nail is pretty great.

Excellent for brick/mortar
These were a life saver when transforming an old brick wall into a focal point. I tried a masonry bit to drill small holes, tried two different types of brick hangers without success. I was able to hammer these into the mortar joints to hang my decorations and to my surprise they are nearly invisible even against the bright red brick.

Not Bendless
I bought these specifically to hand something on my brick wall. The item is hanging, but the hole made by the nail is huge and crumbly, and the nail definitely bent with the banging. As I said, the item is hanging, which was my goal...but it is precarious cause the nail will come out with the slightest nudge...

Very solid, even in poured concrete
I drilled shallow pilot holes into a poured concrete wall, then drove these nails into the wall with a normal hammer. No problems! They didn't bend or break. I bought this as an "add-on" item to another Amazon order, and they did the trick. Saved me an extra trip to Home Depot!

OOK 50032 1-1/2-Inch 10-Pieces Bendless Nails
I have tried every kind of nail for attaching my vines to my block walls. This nail was the cheapest and by far more sturdy than any other I tried. When it says that it doesn't bend, believe me it doesn't. Will go throught anything I have tried.

Thick nails
I probably should have purchased one-inch nails, instead of these. Maintenance preferred to drill in a type of "molly screw" then put in a regular screw.
