Beautiful handcrafted pottery and stained glass wind chime made of high fire clay. Will make a gorgeous addition to your patio, garden, deck or window! Beautiful, haunting, yet serious sounding chime. I crafted the headpiece of the chime from pottery clay, carved the ancient Sumerian Winged King, let it dry for several days then fired for several hours in the kiln. I then partially glazed the plaque and fired it once again. Once completed, I painted the unglazed areas with copper, bronze gold and silver. The back of the plaque is unglazed so that when it rains or gets wet, the pale pink terra cotta colour of the clay will show! Strands of translucent cobalt blue and bronze glass are decorated with Swarovski crystal glass beads, glass beads, quartz crystal chips, and a genuine golden bronze Czech glass bead. The chime terminates in a chunk of uncut raw blue Sodalite stone wrapped in stainless steel wire. Total length is 21 inches long by 4-1/2 inches wide.
