Perfect fit without any cutting or modifications and looks amazing on my 2018 Ninja 400. You can reinstall your oem parts back whenever you like. I've done quite a bit of research and found that this is the best fender eliminater you can purchase. The install instruction YouTube video is awesome, my only additional advice is to remove the black plastic hinged plate under the passenger seat held in place with a couple of pins.
