Thirdly, I really like how wide they open- I haven’t had a problem w/thick toenails in the past but over the last couple of years my 2 “big toes” seem to have started their own aging process so they’re more of an effort to cut. These clippers don’t use the regular tension hinge set-up like all the others I’ve used over my entire life, so along with giving them the ability to open wider, it’s also probably a major factor in their longevity. I don’t just use them on my toenails either- they can cut so precisely I use them on my fingers too.
