I've tried nearly every other method for insect control (below) and this wiped out nearly everything that has been killing my plants when nothing else has worked. I get that some of the insects mentioned below are considered helpful in some circles, but my plants (and house) were being overrun by these critters... and they were dying from the infestations! Now, all the visible insects are dead and I am happy. There might be a few spider mites or mites laying around but their population has greatly reduced after, sadly, killing two of my oldest plants. So, this does work! I would recommend! Though, what I didn't know was horticultural oil is made of mineral oil (derived from petroleum), but it is organic. So, pick your battles. For me, it was all the insects killing my plants. Good luck out there!
