**Q: Are your stakes treated to prevent rot?**
A: Yes, all our stakes are kiln dried and then pressure treated to prevent rot - it can add up to 15 years to the life of a post or stake!

**Q: Why is slow grown wood stronger that faster growing wood?**
A: Slow grown wood, from colder climates such as the Blatic states have much tighter growth rings than those grown elsewhere making them up to twice as strong, which is why all our stakes come from colder regions.

**Q: Do your stakes come from a responsible source?**
A: Yes, we only buy our stakes and posts from carefully managed woodlands

**Q: How do I avoid spliters?**
A: All our stakes and posts are machine cut and smooth so there is a very low chance of spliters - always wear gloves though just in case!

Yes, exactly what I wanted to drive into the ground, so I could put string around them to support my almost full grown Rudbeckia (daisy type flowers).
