The gears roll freely, with no resistance or any feedback. I do not like this side. Overall, I would personally not buy again. You might have a better experience than me. Seller is great. Edit: Increasing to 3 stars as I was offered a refund for my disatisfaction. I am going to spend the refund into another product they sell to see if it is a better fit for me.
