The build quality shows no obvious flaws, the darker brown color I ordered is really nice looking, and could work with a nicer outfit or for a trip to the beach. They are lightweight, very flexible, and quite comfortable. They feel a lot like a barefoot runner type shoe, with no real arch support, and a very thin sole. Despite the lack of arch support (which I typically prefer), they are quite nice for walking around in. In the rear of the foot they provided a touch more cushion for your heel, which is much appreciated. My only real complaint is that when I tie them snugly around my foot, the area below the laces but above the toe area tends to get a slight crunch. Overall not a big deal for me. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Real Eye Catchers *by A***. on July 22, 2017* I really like these shoes. They are light weight, look good, and appear to be of fair quality for the price. I plan to wear these with No Show Socks for casual walking and driving. Based on previous reviews that indicated that they run small, I purchased a size larger and I am really glad that I did. I would have given them five stars, but deducted one star for this reason. I also, switched out the inner sole with a gel sole which I usually do for my shoes anyway. I plan to purchase a couple of other colors that caught my eye after I wear these a while to determine their durability. I'm gonna be taking a trip soon and plan to put these to the test. I will follow up later with my experience wearing these. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Comfortable shoe but not a walking shoe *by J***T on August 5, 2017* I love these shoes! I don't think I have ever owned a pair like them. They are a cross between moccasins, sandals, and water shoes. They breathe but not as much as sandals. They are everyday comfortable like moccasins with a fit like water shoes. They are a good "bumping around" shoe. What they are not is a walking shoe. There is very little support and the sole is very flexible unlike a walking shoe. They are strictly a casual shoe and not one that you would walk long distances. That being said, they are very comfortable and I recommend them. I would say they are a little large for wearing without socks which is the whole purpose of a breathable shoe so a half size smaller may be better. I gave this 4 stars because I received the package a little crushed. This was not the typical packaging that I'm used to from Amazon.
