It arrived in one box that was easy for one to person to move around. Opening it revealed neatly packed parts with all the hardware, instructions and tools needed to assemble it. Assembly will go quicker with your own tools if you have things like ratchets and drills but you can certainly assemble in a timely manner with the provided hand tools. I helped him assemble it although one person can do by him/herself. The top awning is adjustable which is nice depending on the angle of the sun. It holds 2 people comfortably and swings back and forth nicely without making squeaking noises. The cushions are removable and are very comfortable. When it comes time for winter storage, the seat detaches from the stand and then they are both very easy to move into a shed or garage. Review: I am so happy with this purchase. - I am a small, old gal (almost 77) and i did this by myself. I will admit it took me several hours to assemble. I have to stop often and think about the logical thing to do. Here is a hint for other women: don’t tighten all the screws until everything fits in place. The triangle piece that hooks to the top and the two legs is a perfect example. I could not get the holes to match until i gave it thought and remembered men always telling me not to tighten all screws until everything is in alignment. Thank goodness for for “ mansplainin”.
