I use the fridge for storing ice pack only so it doesn't bother me much. But whenever I open the fridge, the smell fills the whole room. I'd say this Air bag smell absorber reduced the smell by around 60 % and thats quite enough for me. For any one looking to buy this, I'd say you should go for this.
