Review: Making this as neutral as possible - After ordering this KOHA turkey pate, I saw a review on desertcart that was negative because it said there had been bone fragments reported in the KOHA pate cans. I opened up my one can (the product description says there are 3 cans included in this order rather than 1) and the food looked very juicy and attractive, and my cat became very enthusiastic about the prospect of eating it. I dug through the meat a bit, looking closely at it, until I finally had to admit to myself that I wouldn’t know a bone fragment if it punched me in the nose. So, though I’m pretty sure my cat would have gobbled it all down, I couldn’t justify giving him something that might not be healthy for him. But at the same time I was reacting to the one review of this product available at the time, and didn’t have the expertise to verify it one way or another. So I am giving the most neutral review I can, 3 stars, to try not to steer anyone in the wrong direction. Review: Bone fragments ! - I should have paid more attention to the reviews. Yes indeed, sharp bone fragments. No way I will feed this to my poor baby already suffering with allergies…still looking for the right food for her. Expensive, yet harmful.

not liked by our cats
6 cats and only 1 ate some of the ‘one’ can we received instead of 3. the same went for the ‘one’ chicken version as well.. food seems fine, decent ingredients overall so not sure what our guy’s problem is with these koha pates..

Great-quality paté for sensitive cats
My cats went wild for this turkey and duck paté. It’s easy on their stomachs and the texture is soft without being runny. A great trial size to test new flavors.

Great Quality
My cat was pleased with this and I was pleased with the quality of the ingredients but I only received a single can and not three. This is why the rating. Overall the food quality is good instead of splitting a case they should have let us buy it whole so the slip up of the amount would not have been an issue.

1 can
I had the same complaint about another variety offered by KOHA. This is supposed to be a variety pack but I was sent a single can. How you can charge this much for 3 cans is insane, but to try and get away with it when sending one is beyond insanity. Cats were not interested. Granted, they usually are skeptical when it comes to new food, and it usually takes about a week for them to adjust and be willing to eat it regularly. Of course, since it was one can, they will not have that time to adjust. I hate giving 1, or even 2 star reviews tbh, but I can't realistically provide a better rating. Sorry.

Nice quality pate, very soft and natural looking
Wonderful product, had no issues with this cat pate, it definitely seems like good quality ingredients are used.. My cat loves turkey pate and he ate these happily for me so I could review them. This pate has a little natural gelatin on top, the meat is a lighter color than most turkey pate I’ve seen, looks and smells like all turkey was used, literally smells like my deli turkey meat. It’s a fine texture and after reading other’s’ experiences I checked it carefully with a fork but didn’t find anything problematic like bones. Would buy again, especially as it’s a limited diet product. My cat has asthma and I’m trying to feed him on this sort of thing.
