More pragmatically, this laundry detergent has worked very well for me in terms of cleaning power, leaving my clothes smelling glorious but not overpoweringly so (love it!) and also because the detergent seems gentle on my clothes and leaves them feeling soft (I do not use fabric softener). Also, I have found this detergent does not make my skin itch, which happened once with a very established brand. However, when I saw by chance you can buy in a 5l bottle at a much cheaper price than the regular supermarket price, plus the advantage of never running out when bought on subscription, I had to try this out. It definitely works for me! I adore the gentle fragrance and now when I smell people's clothes that have been washed in highly perfumed washing liquid it turns my stomach - all those chemicals!! I always get a good and effective wash and if I do need a bit of help, I throw a handful of Sodium Bicarbonate in and it works like magic.
