Safer and dryer than a buddy heater. Simpler than propane. Cheap to run, doesn't use much diesel when ran on low, less than half a tank a night. So good I think I'm going to get another just so I always have one in my camper, and a spare in my truck. The clicking from the fuel pump doesn't bother me much, I leave the whole unit outside of my camper or truck and it provides a bit of white noise when I do hear it. If you have a larger camper, say over 25' I wouldn't use one of these unless you only heat one area, they work best heating a more confined space.
