Each Ghanti Bells Wood Screen is carefully crafted and assembled by hand. Using a combination of Mango wood and medium density fiber board, a singularly beautiful piece is created. Each screen is hand carved and hand polished with carvings on both sides making it even more useful. Screen stands 72 inches high with 4 panel extending 80 inches wide. The screen is extremely sturdy and folds for easy storing.

**Q: Can someone tell me how big is the space where the bells are hanging? the length and width of it, just incase i plan to change the bells**
A: The space where the bells hang is 4-1/4" X 1-1/2"

**Q: Will the surface of this readily accept paint or is it oiled? Wish to place in outdoor garden. White primer, marrakesh blue**
A: It looks to me like it is oiled. I would not recommend this screen for outdoor use. I don't think it could be sealed adequately against weather.

The construction is just as expected for an imported item. It's made well and is quite the head-turner when people come. And the bells are not annoyingly easy to ring. There is just a slight jingling with you walk by it. It's a wonderful addition to our environment.

I love this piece. It is very sturdy, heavy, well made. The only complaint I have. Is some of the bells are missing the clacker that makes them ring. Not sure what to do about that. A couple were not fastened like the should be. It's like they got in a hurry and didn't fasten them on well. I will have to take a pair of plires to bend the metal loop , to fasten the bell to the piece. When it comes it has a strong smell of stain. But after a couple of days , the smell goes away. It's a beautiful piece, and even with the few small problems I have , I still would buy it again. I love the way it looks and even though you can see through the holes in the design, it still gives a person some privacy. Overall I am very happy with it.
