I wanted a proper Mum-bag to hold everything a family of 4 could need for the day. We'll... it didn't quite hold EVERYthing, but I am still pleased.I used the 'tablet pocket' to keep A4 papers flat; it made it possible to slide paperwork in and out without crumpling or having to unpack.The 2 smaller outer pockets were generously sized. The mesh pockets for water bottles were good sizes and I could reach them without having to take the bag off. The little pockets on the waist strap were good for lip balm etc. I wouldn't like to put keys here, they didn't feel secure. My only gripe was a key hook in the main section would expect have been good.The waterproof cover really did work - we had a number of heavy rain showers so properly tested. The cover would also give some protection from pickpockets.Overall the bag held up well. I wore it all day for 5 days. It was on and off loads. It was comfortable to wear, the chest and waist straps really helped.
