The only drawback for me is the band across the instep. I wore these around the house about 5 hours the day they arrived. The band feels tight, though after being worn 5 hours or so, the band did not leave a mark. Tells me not actually too tight. Maybe I just don't care for the light pressure on the instep. I bought women's size 8-9 and i'd say the fit is almost right. I wear an 8½ and I'd wanted a wide toe box. The design is wide, but inside not as roomy as I'd hoped. I'd say if you wear a size 9 you should try 1 size up. Cute and comfy, definitely warmer than the sandals I've been wearing in the house all winter.
