I bought an M size (Which is a Chinese XL) hoping it would drape as it does on the model (a bit baggy) and am very happy with the purchase. It's not flattering on all body types, to be sure, but the construction and fabric is better than I expected it to be for the price so the overall value is good. The boat neck goes just to the edges of my shoulder and it looks great with my black leggings and black boots.As other reviewers have mentioned, it definitely is tee shirt material, so it's not any warmer or cozier than a tee shirt would be, just has more style.The thumb holes are definitely placed for shorter arms. At 5'2, I JUST get my thumbs in one of the holes if I wear it off one shoulder as pictured. If I wear it boat neck style where it sits just on the edge of both shoulders, the thumbholes are perfect. If you are a little taller, you probably won't be able to get the thumbholes just right.After some deliberation, I got this in the gray and I like the color. I was considering getting the white and dying it, but not knowing for sure the fabric content, I didn't want to get overly ambitious. However, I will probably buy another one in white and try an ombre technique DIY on it to wear over the summer.Bottom line: If you are petite, this *can* be styled to look pretty chic and is a great value for an interesting piece in your closet that you can layer and dress up or punk down.
